About Noah's Ark Uganda
Our Mission
Noah’s ark started in 2014 September by Nakato Angella Hellen who picked inspiration from Bright kids Uganda. Noah’s Ark started with about 8 kids and later on, the number increased. As of late, the recent number of kids is 77 kids under the guidance of 18 staff members.
At Noah's Ark Uganda, we strive to improve the lives of underprivileged children by providing them with education, food, and shelter.
Our aim is to give these children a chance at a better future.

- To advocate and educate the community about disability.
- To adequately meet the children’s developmental needs by supporting provision of physical, social, medical and educational needs.
- To equip families with essential knowledge and skills to enable them independently cater for their children.
- To grow a sound and sustainable organisational resource base which effectively supports the childcare services we offer.
- To advocate for and pursue equity, justice and protection for children with special needs.
- To design and implement sound, inclusive, innovative and scalable problems that ensure tangible social change for children with special needs and their families.

Noah’s ark is a non-profitable organisation that serves children with many disabilities except the blind. The disabilities served are for deaf, normal kids, spina bifida, autistic, hyper, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, disabled, intellectual, down syndrome amongst others.
- We, at the Noah’s Ark, help to take care of these kids through offering them services like advocacy and community outreaches where they get some special help from the people that come in.
- We offer them vocational skills such as weaving baskets, cooking, crafts making amongst others.
- Physiotherapy to the children
- Co-curricular activities such as Music, Dance and Drama (MDD)
